Lovingkindness Prayer

May all beings dwell in an open heart. May all beings be healed in their suffering. May all beings be awake in this moment, just as it is. May all beings awaken their hearts to each other.

We are a spiritual community of both Buddhists and non-Buddhists interested in the teachings of the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, and through mindfulness meditation, aspire to cultivate the Buddha Nature that lives within each and every one of us.

WHEN WE MEET…

Our group, or Sangha, meets Every THURSDAY evening from 7:30-9PM at Phap Hoa Buddhist Temple in Vernon, CT. Our address is 85 Prospect St. Vernon, CT 06066. ALL ARE WELCOME. No meditation experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and please remove your shoes upon entering the temple. Please dress with warm layers during winter months because it can be chilly in the large hall. Cushions and chairs are provided. There is no cost involved, however, donations can be offered to the temple for the use of the space, if you so choose.
